Born from a casual walk through my old school with my high school friend Steve and we stepped into the band room where I saw some old band uniforms. The idea hit me to make it into an art project that honors my roots and where I was at the time. The school principal let me run with the idea and "63848" began.
Later on, my friend Lana gave me a beautiful vintage majorette uniform and it just added another dimension to the whole idea. It will always be an ongoing project for me. When I am 90, you will catch me still working on this! It's a fun project and always reminds me what HOME means to me.
